Open Door’s 4th annual Music Jam features Mountain Faith band

Enjoy an evening of toe-tapping mountain music and help feed the hungry and hurting in Haywood County by visiting The Open Door’s 4th annual Music Jam at 7 p.m. Thursday, October 20, at the Haywood Community College auditorium.

The nationally acclaimed Mountain Faith band based in Sylva will be in attendance.

“You won’t want to miss the fresh Appalachian take on gospel, bluegrass, folk, R&B and pop music of this America’s Got Talent 2015 finalist,” event organizers said.

Local sponsors such as Blue Mountain Chiropractic, Haywood Regional Medical Center and HomeTrust Bank have made it possible for The Open Door to book this band.

Advance tickets for this affordable, family-friendly concert are $10 for adults and $8 for children. Those interested in attending the event can purchase them at The Second Blessing Thrift Shop on Commerce Street. To use a credit card, call The Open Door office: 828-452-3846. Space for advertising in the program is also available ($50-$500 options).

This concert is The Open Door’s way of saying “thank you” to Haywood County for helping them serve more than 18,000 meals so far in 2016.

“Your attendance at this event will help The Open Door continue to restore hope to those in need.”
